A Partnership Sharing a Vision for Low-Impact Uncrewed Operations in Norway: HydroSurv x Nordic USV

Our collaboration with Nordic USV continues to demonstrate what stead, practical progress in uncrewed coastal operations looks like.

In 2025, Nordic USV completed a notable mission with USV Bris, covering 320 kilometers between Ranfjorden and Velfjorden. The vessel operated uncrewed for 41 hours, monitored remotely from Bergen, providing a clear example of long-distance operations in demanding waters.

Building on that early work, Nordic USV has added two further REAV-47 battery-hybrid uncrewed vessels, USV Kuling and USV Storm, extending their operational range and providing the resilience needed for multi-day missions. With a growing network of charging stations, these platforms are forming the basis of scalable coastal monitoring capability across the region.

This video offers a brief insight into this journey and the progress being made through our shared vision for uncrewed operations in Norway.
