Information security is a responsibility that HydroSurv takes seriously. Above all else, we believe that control of confidential information, data integrity and information availability is an essential minimum that we expect to provide customers, partners, our team, or anyone else we do business with.
Supported by a grant from the Marine Business Technology Centre (MBTC), HydroSurv has recently worked with local cyber security experts Bluescreen IT to become Cyber Essentials accredited. Then, we’ve taken this opportunity to go further and perform a full gap analysis against ISO 27001.
As a company, we’re often asked about the security of our networks – both infrastructure which exists to hold and process data collected from our USVs, but also the ad-hoc, in-field networks for the command and control of our vehicles. Our team is always pleased to discuss these aspects with our customers to assure them that we have put measures in place to protect their information.
