We are pleased to announce that HydroSurv has recently become the latest member of the Future Autonomous at Sea Technologies (FAST) Cluster.
Bringing together leading industrial and academic partners, the FAST Cluster is a business-led group specialising in the delivery of innovative marine autonomous solutions including surface and sub-surface platforms, advanced manufacturing, smart ports and cyber security.
HydroSurv’s membership has coincided with planned trials activity for our USV platforms during the summer at Smart Sound Plymouth – a de-conflicted water space for trials, validation and marine technology demonstration; the FAST Cluster infrastructure includes platforms, sensors, advanced power systems and communication networks to the Smart Sound.
It is clear to see that that the innovation ecosystem and the related deep expertise in marine technology that centres around Plymouth and the surrounding area is of a world-class standard. Through fostering cooperation and collaboration with industry-leading FAST Cluster partners, HydroSurv hopes to elevate its position as an innovator in Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) technology and continue to build new collaborations which advance the deployment of HydroSurv technology in applied use.
